(HMG Celebrity News) Big casting change continue for Alfonso Cuaron"s 3D sci-fi thriller Gravity. Robert Downey Jr. was originally signed has now been replaced by George Clooney, according to Variety.� Downey Jr. dropped out last month due to scheduling issues. � The production has been pushed to late spring to give Sandra Bullock time to finish Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Bullock who has the feature role took on the part after Natalie Portman passed on it, while the project was initially set up at Universal before going over to Warner Bros. In Gravity, Clooney and Bullock will play a pair of astronauts fighting to survive on a remote space station after satellite debris kills the rest of the crew and leaves the station barely intact. Spoiler alert in case you don"t want to know stop here. Apparently George plays only a small but pivotal in the tale, and doesn"t last long before Sandra"s character is left to fight to make the long grueling journey home to Earth on her own.
